As they continue to expand, we’re on the lookout for a detail-driven Payroll Officer to join their vibrant Head Office team in Melbourne’s South-East.

About the Role:

You’ll be an integral part of a dynamic payroll function, supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple states and territories.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities and locations
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with EBAs and modern awards
  • Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies efficiently
  • Processing and reconciling superannuation, long service leave and child support
  • Assisting with monthly ATO reporting, banking and EOFY processes
  • Updating MyGov employee records and supporting Single Touch Payroll (STP) compliance

What You Bring:

  • Experience in a high-volume, national payroll function
  • A strong understanding of award interpretation, ideally within building or construction
  • High attention to detail and fast, accurate data entry skills
  • Proficiency with Sage Micropay or similar payroll systems
  • Experience with STP and ATO reporting processes
  • A positive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
