About the Role

As the Sales Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our client’s latest venture in the solar industry. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future success of the company by:

  • Driving Sales Excellence: Meet and exceed sales and gross profit targets by nurturing existing relationships and opening doors to new opportunities.
  • Customer Education & Engagement: Conduct on-site assessments, educate customers on the benefits of our cutting-edge solar products, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Contract Management: Prepare and finalize sales contracts with precision, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for our customers.
  • Product Presentation: Present solar products in a compelling and structured manner, showcasing the innovation and quality that sets us apart.
  • CRM Management: Maintain an up-to-date and accurate CRM system to ensure seamless communication and follow-ups.
  • Strategic Prospecting: Develop and implement a robust prospecting plan to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong, ongoing communication with customers and suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships.

About You

  • Industry Expertise: Ideally, possess at least 5 years of experience in the solar industry with a focus on wholesale or commercial sales.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrate success in achieving and surpassing sales targets, with a knack for building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Organised & Efficient: Excellent time management and organisational skills with a focus on delivering results.
